The five-day Orientation and Refresher Course for the officers/officials of the ExecutiveWing concluded today at the Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy, Udhampur.

The five-day Orientation and Refresher Course for the officers/officials of the Executive
Wing concluded today at the Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy, Udhampur. The valediction
function was held in the presence of Shri Rajinder Kumar Gupta, IPS, who graced the
occasion as the Chief Guest.
A total of 22 participants attended the programme which was designed to update
professional knowledge and sharpen operational efficiency. The course provided
comprehensive inputs on new criminal laws, the role and responsibilities of the Executive
Police, effective use of CCTNS, handling of biological and digital evidence, investigation
procedures under BNSS, and verification processes. It also focused on community policing,
traffic management and accident investigation, human rights in policing, crowd control
strategies, as well as emerging challenges like cybercrime and cyber forensics.
In his valedictory address, Shri Gupta stressed the importance of continuous capacity
building to effectively meet emerging challenges in policing. He encouraged participants to
apply the learnings in their field assignments with dedication and professionalism.
Certificates of participation were distributed among the trainees. The course was
coordinated by Inspector Vikas Manhas, assisted by ASI Zareena Malik, member faculty.
