SAMBA POLICE ARRESTS NOTORIOUS CRIMINAL WANTED IN ATTEMPT TO MURDER AND NDPS ACT CASES
Samba, August 11, 2025: In a significant breakthrough in its continuous drive against the Absconders/Criminals, Samba Police has successfully arrested a notorious criminal wanted in multiple cases of Attempt to Murder and NDPS Act registered at Police Station Vijaypur.
A Police team headed by SHO Police Station Vijaypur under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur and under the overall supervision of SSP Samba after sustained efforts & well-coordinated operation has succeeded in apprehending a notorious criminal namely Mohd Younus S/o Noor Alam R/o Rakh Barotian tehsil Vijaypur district Samba who was wanted in different FIRs of PS Vijaypur including
1. FIR No. 38/2023 U/S 307/382/353/332/336/147/148 IPC
2. FIR No.132/2023 U/S 307/382/332/353/148/149/34 IPC
3. FIR No.155/2025 U/S 8/21/22/25/27-A/29 NDPS Act
4. FIR No.07/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act
5. FIR No.58/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act
The said accused was also an absconder and was wanted in case FIR No. 204/2021 u/s 8/21/22 NDPS Act of PS Vijaypur. The accused was evading his arrest for the last two years after the issuance of arrest warrant against him by the Hon’ble Court Samba u/s 299 CrPC.
