MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH; 01 DRUG PEDDLER NABBED WITH APPROX.90.23 GRAMS OF HEROIN (CHITTA) LIKE NARCOTICS BY POLICE TEAM OF P/S RAJBAGH AT KOREPUNNU.

KATHUA, 13 NOV: In its drive against the drugs & its propagators,J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma -IPS* today seized approx. *90.23 grams* of Heroin (Chitta) like narcotics & 01 drug peddler was arrested at Korepunnu area of PS Rajbagh.
On 12.11.2025, the police team led by SHO PS Rajbagh Insp. Ajay Singh Chib under the guidance of *SP Ops. Kathua Sh. Mukund Tibrewal IPS & SDPO Border Sh. Dheeraj Katoch* laid Naka in its jurisdictional area at Korepunnu and apprehended one suspect enrouted under suspicious circumstances. During enquiry, he disclosed his name as *Liaqat Ali S/o Jamal Din R/o Kullian Tehsil & District Kathua*.During checking, approx. 90.23 grams of Heroine(Chitta) -like substance recovered from his possession. Accordingly, a *Case FIR No. 220/2025 U/S 8/21/22/NDPS Act* registered at PS Rajbagh and further investigation in the case is going on.
