J&K POLICE KATHUA ORGANISED THANA DIWAS AT PS KATHUA.

Kathua; 14 Nov:- J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS* yesterday organised Thana Diwas at PS Kathua. The function was presided over by *Addl. SP Kathua Sh. Rahul Charak JKPS* accompanied by *DySP Hqrs Kathua Sh. Ravinder Singh & SHO PS Kathua Insp. Sandeep Chib* . The meeting was attended by 70-90 locals, including PRI’s, Pradhan Byopar Mandal and other respectable citizens of the area.
The event was conducted to interact with the local populace, listen to their grievances and make them aware of various social and criminal issues.
During the meeting, special emphasis was laid on drug abuse, cybercrime awareness and the need for collective efforts to curb these growing challenges.
The Chairing officers urged the participants to remain vigilant against drug peddling and cyber frauds and to inform the Police about any suspicious activity in their area. He appealed to the youth to stay away from drugs and focus on education and constructive activities for a better future.
The locals appreciated the efforts of the Police for organizing such an interactive platform and shared various issues concerning their area. They were assured that all grievances raised during the meeting would be addressed on priority.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks and a mutual assurance of continued cooperation between the Police and the public for maintaining peace and order in the area.
