In a major breakthrough, the Anti-Gangster Task Force, Punjab (#AGTF), in a joint operation with Hoshiarpur Police, apprehends Krishan Gopal, resident of Village Baincha, #Hoshiarpur, along with his son Keshav after a brief exchange of fire.
The duo was involved in a targeted shooting at Ganpati Jewellers, Hoshiarpur, on 18/10/2025, when two assailants on motorcycles opened fire on the premises. Following the attack, the shop owner received a threatening call from an unknown foreign number, demanding ₹20 lakh in extortion.
Recovery: One .32 caliber pistol along with live cartridges
