Following an important high-level meeting chaired by the Hon’ble National President of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Behan Kumari Mayawati Ji, on 19 October 2025 at the BSP Central Office in Lucknow, the Jammu & Kashmir unit of the BSP has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to implement her directions and policy framework across the Union Territory. The meeting, which focused on the party’s upcoming political strategy and organizational restructuring, was attended by senior BSP J&K leaders including Darshan Rana (President BSP J&K UT), Charanjit Chargotra (Vice President), Sunil Majotra (State Coordinator), Darshan Thapa, Ram Lal, and Sham Lal.
The Hon’ble National President, Behan Kumari Mayawati Ji, emphasized the urgent need to expand the party’s reach at the grassroots level, strengthen internal unity, and fight against rising social, economic, and political inequalities. She underlined that the BSP must remain the voice of the oppressed and marginalized, taking forward the mission of Param Pujya Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, Sri Narayana Guru, and Manyawar Kanshi Ram Ji.
In response, President Darshan Rana assured that the BSP J&K UT will implement Mayawati Ji’s guidance in letter and spirit. The unit will intensify efforts to build strong district and tehsil-level organizations, address issues such as unemployment, inflation, caste-based discrimination, and corruption, and mobilize the masses through awareness campaigns rooted in the teachings of Dr. Ambedkar and the Bahujan ideology of social justice and equality.
The BSP Jammu & Kashmir unit reaffirmed its full faith in Behan Mayawati Ji’s visionary leadership and pledged to strengthen the Bahujan movement across the Union Territory, ensuring that the principles of equality, unity, and empowerment reach every section of society.
