Bovine Smuggling Bid Foiled; 04 Bovines Rescued, 01 Vehicle Seized by Jammu (Rural) Police.

Continuing its sustained crackdown against bovine smuggling under Operation Kamdhenu, Jammu (Rural) Police foiled a bovine smuggling attempt in the Sidhra area.
A police party from Police Post Sidhra, during naka checking at Sidhra Bridge, intercepted a *Mahindra vehicle bearing registration No. JK19A-5734.* During checking, four bovines were found being transported illegally in a cruel manner.
The animals were rescued safely, while the driver identified as *Abdul Razaq Kisana, S/o Mahmood Ahmad Kisana, R/o Anantnag* was taken into custody. The vehicle involved in the offence was seized.
Accordingly, *FIR No. 01/2026 under Sections 223 BNS and 11 of the PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Nagrota.* Further investigation is underway.
