Awantipora 10 January 2025:
Awantipora Police today held a meeting with representatives of the Market Associations of Lethpora, Chersoo, and Pujtang at Police Station Awantipora, chaired by SDPO Awantipora and SHO PS Awantipora.
During the meeting, the participants were sensitised about issues related to the security of the National Highway, public safety, and other allied matters. The shopkeepers and market representatives were advised to remain vigilant, promptly report any suspicious movement or unidentified persons to the nearest police unit, ensure installation of CCTV cameras in and around their establishments, and maintain close coordination with the police.
The Market Association members appreciated the initiative of Awantipora Police and assured full cooperation in maintaining law and order and safeguarding the National Highway. The meeting concluded on a positive note.
