The full dress rehearsal for the Independence Day Parade 2025 was held at District Sports Stadium Kathua, amid tight security arrangements.
ADDC Kathua Sh. Surender Mohan Sharma JKAS accompanied by Addl. Superintendent of Police Kathua Sh. Rahul Charak-JKPS hoisted the National Tricolor Flag and took salute to the march past of the participating contingents. The parade was commanded by Prob. DySP Ameen Bhatt- JKPS alongwith PSI Prince Jasrotia (Second Parade Commander) whereas other contingents including DPL Kathua, IRP 19TH BN., PTS Kathua, PTS Brass Band, Forest Protection Force, Home Guards,NCC Cadets(Senior as well as Junior Division Boys & Girls), Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Kathua and Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Kathua,
DPS Rajbagh, Army Public School Boys/Girls Janglote, Kartar Public School Barnoti, Anusikhsha Kendra, Bharat Scouts & Guide teams, Jammu Sanskrit School Kathua, Little Angels Higher Secondary School Kathua, Nav Adarsh Higher Sec. School Kathua, Spring Dales
