on Vigilance Awareness Week at SKPA Udhampur on August 5, 2025:
As part of the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week, a pledge
ceremony was held today at Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA)
Udhampur, in which GO’s/NGO’s/staff and trainees of various ongoing
training courses have been participated and took pledge on the occasion. The
event aimed to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability in public
life and to reinforce the commitment to fight corruption.
The pledge was solemnly administered to the staff and trainee officers
of the Academy, reaffirming their dedication to upholding the highest
standards of honesty and ethical conduct in their professional and personal
lives.
This initiative aligns with the vision of creating a corruption-free
society and reflects the Academy’s consistent efforts in fostering a culture of
vigilance and integrity among police personnel. Besides this, the necessary
directions have been issued to all the participants during pledge session to
ensure promoting awareness on the subject among masses will make to follow
probity and rule of law in everywhere, to neither take nor offer any kind of
bribe. It is the prime responsibility of all the Government employees to
perform all tasks in honest and transparent manner, and to act in general Public
interest, to lead by an example exhibiting integrity in personal behavior, to
report any incident of corruption to the appropriate agency for further legal
necessary action.
