Samba, January 10,2025: Samba Police has recovered arms & ammunitions at village Palura tehsil Rajpura district Samba dropped by a drone coming from across the border.
On 09.01.2026, an information was received through reliable sources that one suspected Pakistani drone coming from across the International Border has dropped one packet at village Palura tehsil Rajpura district Samba. After dropping, the drone moved back towards Pakistan side. The suspicious thing wrapped in yellow tape is lying in open field at village Palura. As per the information, a prima facie case FIR no. 06/2026 has been registered under relevant sections of law at PS Ghagwal.
Further, search operation was carried out jointly by Samba Police & BSF in village Palura & during search, one packet containing one Chinese HE Grenade, 16 Nos. 9mm Rounds, one Glock Pistol with magazine & one Star Pistol with two magazines was recovered from the site.
Further Investigation of the case is going on.
