Udhampur Police Attaches Another Drug Peddler’s immovable property;16th Residential House Attachment This Year”.

Udhampur Police has attached an immovable property worth ₹60 Lakhs belonging to Varun Sharma @ Pichi S/o Raj Kumar, R/o Ward No. 06, Karan Nagar, Railway Road, Udhampur, under Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act in connection with FIR No. 180/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act of Police Station Rehambal. The attached property comprises a double-storey residential house built on land under Khasra No. 50 min at Ward No. 06, Karan Nagar, Udhampur, marked the 16th residential house of drug peddler attached by Udhampur Police this year in NDPS-related action.
During the course of investigation, detailed financial scrutiny and backward link analysis revealed that the accused had acquired the said immovable property through proceeds of narcotics. Based on these findings, the Investigating Officer passed the attachment order today for further legal proceedings.
*Udhampur Police’s NDPS property attachment tally for the year has now reached ₹17.30 Crore, showcasing its sustained offensive against Drug Peddlers.
