Kathua, 06 Dec: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS* has seized a total of Five vehicles i.e (02 dumpers & 03 Tractor Trolleys) in the jurisdictional areas of Police Station Kathua & Bani, which were being used for illegal transportation of the construction material.
In the first instance, On 05/12/25 Police teams headed by SHO PS Kathua Insp. Sandeep Chib & IC PP Nagri PSI Ravinder Thakur under the guidance of DySP Hqrs Kathua Sh. Ravinder Singh while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional area, has seized a total 04 Vehicles (i.e 02 dumpers bearing Reg. Nos. JK08P-9912, JK08M-8812 (PS Kathua) & two tractor trolley without any Reg. No. (PP Nagri) which were being used for illegal transportation of the construction material (Sand ) in the area.
Moreover, the police team of PS Bani led by SHO PS Bani under the guidance of DySP SOG Bani also seized one tractor trolley carrying Snad without A form.
The above mentioned 05 vehicles have been seized by J&K Police Kathua and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Kathua for further legal action.
