Absconder Arrested by Surankote Police.

In a significant action against wanted individuals evading the law, Surankote Police today arrested an absconder who had been evading arrest for several years in a case registered under Section 498-A RPC.
The arrested individual has been identified as:
Shafiq Ahmed, S/O Abdul Ghani Chark, R/O Chandimarh, Tehsil Surankote.
The said accused was wanted in FIR No. 39/2014 of Police Station Surankote and had been deliberately avoiding the process of law since registration of the case.
Acting on specific inputs, a team from Police Station Surankote successfully traced and apprehended the absconder. Following his arrest, he was produced before the concerned competent court for further legal proceedings.
