J&K POLICE KATHUA SEIZED 06 VEHICLES FOR ILLEGAL MINING AT HATLI & HIRANAGAR AREA.

KATHUA; 11 NOV: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS* has seized a total of 06 vehicles in the jurisdictional areas of PP Hatli & PS Hiranagar area which were being used for illegal mining/transportation of the construction material (Without A Form).
In the first instance, a Police team headed by IC PP Hatli PSI Shubham Mahajan under the guidance of *Addl. SP Kathua Sh. Rahul Charak JKPS & DySP Hqrs Kathua Sh. Ravinder Singh* while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional area, have seized 05 vehicles bearing registration Nos. PB03B-M0534,PB22Y-8316,PBM-6241,PB06BL-2986,PB05AQ-9275 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
While in the second instance police team led by SHO PS Hiranagar under the guidance of *SDPO Border* while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional area, have seized 01 vehicle indulged in illegal mining / transportation of construction material without any legal permission.
The above mentioned 06 vehicles have been seized by @Kathua Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Kathua for further legal action.
