Samba, October 29, 2025: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized six vehicles including three dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Samba, Bari Brahmana and Purmandal which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Purmandal, SHO PS Bari Brahmana, Incharges of Police Posts Goran, Rakh Amb Talli & Mansar of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized three dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21G-6049, JK21-9073, JK14G-0133, a tractor trolley bearing registration No. JK21H-2695 and two tractor trolleys without registration No. which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The above-mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
