🔴🔴1.Jammu Police, South Zone Unearths a Blind Murder Case Which Was Otherwise Projected as Natural Death — Complaint Received After One Month, Case Solved in Shortest Possible Time After Complaint.


In a remarkable display of teamwork, scientific investigation, diligence, and professional acumen, Jammu Police, South Zone has uncovered the murder of a woman initially projected as a natural death.
Acting swiftly and with detailed attention to available evidence, Police Station Bahu Fort, under the command of Inspector Sushil Choudhary, arrested the husband of the deceased woman, solving a case that had remained unreported for nearly a month. The investigation was conducted under the close supervision of SSP Jammu, with overall monitoring by SP South and SDPO East, ensuring a professional and time-bound probe.
On 26.09.2025, Ms. Sabina Sunuwar D/o Akbar Khan R/o Dhol Wali Gali, Nai Basti, Jammu lodged a written complaint regarding the suspicious death of her sister Simriti Sunwar W/o Tej Pal Singh R/o Mangnar, District Poonch A/P Trikuta Nagar Extension, Jammu.
The complainant stated that on 26.08.2025, her brother-in-law Tej Pal Singh S/o Subash Singh had taken his wife for alleged medical treatment but returned the next day with her dead body and hurriedly conducted her cremation at Shastri Nagar Cremation Ground, without informing any law enforcement agency and without postmortem examination, in an apparent attempt to conceal evidence.
The deceased was allegedly subjected to cruelty, bore suspicious ligature marks on her neck, and had ongoing financial disputes with her husband regarding the purchase of a new house. Supporting photographs were also provided by the complainant.
On receipt of the complaint, FIR No. 286/2025 U/S 103 BNS was registered at Police Station Bahu Fort. A professional investigation team, assisted by the FSL team and crime photographer, inspected the rented accommodation and collected all relevant evidence.
On the basis of scientific analysis, technical corroboration, and witness testimony, the accused Tej Pal Singh was arrested on 27.09.2025 by Police Station Bahu Fort.
Further investigation is ongoing.

🔴🔴2)Minor Boy Found Murdered in Sunjwan; Accused Arrested Within Hours

In another swift action, Police Post Bathindi cracked a gruesome murder case within hours of its reporting, bringing the accused to justice in record time.
On 10.10.2025, Abdul Gafoor R/o Rahimabad, Bathindi, Jammu lodged a complaint at Police Post Bathindi stating that his minor son, Mohd. Zubair, had been found murdered in Sunjwan–Gaziabad area. He suspected Mansoor Alam S/o Ali Hasan R/o Rahimabad, Bathindi (a national of Burma), who had previously issued threats after his proposal to marry the complainant’s daughter was declined.

Upon receipt of the complaint, FIR No. 299/2025 U/S 103 BNS was registered at Police Station Bahu Fort. Acting swiftly, the police teamfrom Police Post Bathindiapprehended Mansoor Alam within hours. During sustained questioning, the accused confessed to the crime. Further investigation is underway.

🔴🔴3)POLICE STATION MIRAN SAHIB, JAMMU ARRESTED 05 ACCUSED INVOLVED IN GRUESOME MURDER CASE AT SIMBAL CAMP

In a swift and determined action, Jammu Police have successfully apprehended the 05 accused(members of same family) in a brutal murder case reported from Simbal Camp, Miran Sahib. The arrests were made within days of the incident, reflecting the department’s unwavering commitment to justice and public safety.

On 09.10.2025, an FIR No. 133/2025 under sections 109/126(2)/191(2) of the BNS was registered at Police Station Miran Sahib following a complaint from Harbhajan Kour, wife of the deceased Narinder Singh R/o Simbal Camp, Ward No. 01.
As per the complaint, Narinder Singh was grievously assaulted by Tanveer Singh @ Kalu and Bavneet Singh @ Babby, along with their family members. The victim was immediately rushed to GMC Jammu, where doctors declared him brought dead. *Section 103/BNS (Murder) was accordingly added to the case. After completing medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to the legal heirs for last rites.

Taking prompt cognizance of the heinous crime, a police team led by SHO P/S Miran Sahib, Inspector Azad Ahmed, under the close supervision of SDPO R.S. Pura, SP Headquarters Jammu, and overall supervision of SSP Jammu launched an extensive manhunt to track down the accused. The team worked on multiple leads, raided several hideouts across Jammu and adjoining districts, and developed actionable intelligence.

Acting on credible information, the police team succeeded in arresting the two prime accused — Tanveer Singh and Bavneet Singh, both sons of Ranjeet Singh, residents of Simbal Camp, Miran Sahib, Tehsil R.S. Pura, District Jammu.
A well-coordinated operation led to their successful apprehension.
Subsequently 03 more accused including Ranjeet Singh s/O Sewa Singh,his wife Amrit Kour and his daughter Kanwal Preet Kour have also been arrested in the case.

All the arrested individuals belonging to the accused family are currently under police custody.
