Braham Jyot Satti ( President BJP OBC Morcha Jammu Kashmir) along with BJP leaders and prominent citizens of Jammu West listen to the 125th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme “Mann Ki Baat” at Ward No. 29, Rice Mill Shakti Nagar, Jammu West.
The programme was organised by Sanjay Verma, Mandal President OBC Rehari Bakshi Nagar, and witnessed enthusiastic participation of local residents, party functionaries, and community representatives.
Among those present on the occasion were Perveen Badyal (District Vice President OBC), Bharat Bushan Kaka Ji, Inderjeet Ji, Ramesh Loria, Rajkumar, Ramesh, and several other prominent Citizens.
Addressing the nation through Akashvani, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the 125th episode of Mann Ki Baat highlighted the importance of adopting Swadeshi practices during the upcoming festive season. He stressed that the mantra of “Vocal for Local”, the path of Atmanirbhar Bharat, and the collective goal of a Developed India should guide every citizen.
The Prime Minister urged that gifts, attire, home decoration and all essential needs should be fulfilled through Made in India products, thereby strengthening local industries. He also emphasized that cleanliness adds joy to festivals, calling upon citizens to remain committed to Swachh Bharat.
Underscoring the spirit of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat, the Prime Minister noted that the unity of the nation is critical for development, and sports play a vital role in nurturing this spirit. He made special mention of the first-ever Khelo India Water Sports Festival held at Dal Lake, Srinagar, where 800 athletes from across the country participated.
PM modi expressed deep concern over recently flash floods and landslides and said In this monsoon season, natural disasters are testing the country. In the last few weeks we have witnessed massive havoc caused by floods and landslides. Homes torn apart, fields submerged, entire families destroyed. The relentless surge of water swept away bridges-roads got washed away, and people’s lives were in danger. These incidents have brought grief to every Indian. The pain of the families who lost their loved ones is shared by all of us .
PM Modi also expressed gratitude towards the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and other security personnel for their relentless service and sacrifices in relief operations during difficult times.
On the occasion, Braham Jyot Satti appreciated the vision and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that Mann Ki Baat continues to inspire every citizen of the country by promoting Indian culture, values, and self-reliance. PM Modi’s call for Swadeshi and Atmanirbhar Bharat is not just an appeal but a roadmap for making India a global leader. His emphasis on cleanliness, unity, and sports will go a long way in shaping a strong and developed nation.
