Jammu police tightening its noose against bovine smugglers under operation *Kamdhenu* Police team of Police Post Sidhra led by IC PP Sidhra has foiled two bovine smuggling attempt in which total 08 bovines were rescued. Two Mahendra pickup bearing registration No. JK14E/6111 loaded with 04 bovine animals and Mahendra pickup bearing registration No. JK02BB/3061 loaded with 04 bovines were rescued.
*Total 08 no’s of bovines were rescued and 02 vehicle seized.*
Two person arrested namely
1) Mohd Riyaz s/o Roshan Din R/O Bali Nala Udhampur
2) Mohd Mansha S/0 Fareed Ahmed R/O Partap Nagar Rathian Udhampur
In this regard, a case FIR NO.176/2025 and FIR NO.177/2025,U/S 223/11 PCA Act have been registered in Police Station Nagrota. Further investigation is underway.
