01 ACCUSED WANTED IN “ATTEMPT TO MURDER CASE” ARRESTED BY POLICE TEAM OF PS LAKHANPUR.

KATHUA ; 05 DEC:- In continuation to its drive against the accused/criminals, District Police Kathua apprehended an accused who was wanted in an “Attempt to Murder” Case FIR No. 55/2024 U/S 307 IPC of PS Lakhanpur.
On 04/12/2025 a Police team of PS Lakhanpur led by *SHO PS Lakhanpur Insp. Tariq Ahmed assisted by PSI Yousaf* under the supervision of *Addl. SP Kathua Sh. Rahul Charak JKPS & DySP DAR Kathua Sh. Ritesh Sambyal* and overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Ms Mohita Sharma IPS* succeeded in apprehending the accused namely *Akhter Hussain S/o Mohd Din R/o Bibrote Tehsil Rajgarh District Ramban* who was evading his arrest since 2024 in case FIR No. 55/2024 U/S 307/IPC of PS Lakhanpur. The said accused was evading arrest since long after the commission of the crime.
After completing legal formalities, he was produced before the Hon’ble Court of Law.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
