बारिश और ओलावृष्टि से प्रभावित बिश्नाह और अरनिया के किसानों के लिए तत्काल राहत की मांग: एआईसीसी सचिव नीरज कुंदन ।

बिश्नाह, 04 अक्टूबर, 2025 – एआईसीसी सचिव और सह-प्रभारी संगठन नीरज कुंदन ने आज जम्मू संभाग के बिश्नाह निर्वाचन क्षेत्र और अरनिया ब्लॉक के धान किसानों के लिए तत्काल अनुग्रह राशि मुआवजे की मांग की, जो हाल ही में हुई मूसलाधार बारिश और भीषण ओलावृष्टि से तबाह हो गए हैं। इस प्राकृतिक आपदा ने क्षेत्र की कृषि अर्थव्यवस्था को पंगु बना दिया है, और बिश्नाह और अरनिया दोनों में स्थानीय आजीविका का मुख्य आधार बासमती की फसलें लगभग पूरी तरह से नष्ट हो गई हैं।

1 अक्टूबर को बिश्नाह तहसील और अरनिया ब्लॉक में भयंकर ओलावृष्टि हुई, जिससे बासमती चावल के खेत चौपट हो गए और इन क्षेत्रों में अनुमानित 50-60% फसल का नुकसान हुआ। इसके बाद 2 अक्टूबर को आए तूफान ने अरनिया के खेतों को और तबाह कर दिया, जिससे अरनिया के किसानों के लिए संकट और गहरा गया। बिश्नाह और अरनिया के किसान, जो पहले से ही जलवायु अनिश्चितताओं से जूझ रहे हैं, गंभीर आर्थिक संकट का सामना कर रहे हैं। अरनिया के मल्ले कोठे गाँव के रहने वाले जम्मू के गौरवान्वित सपूत कुंदन ने कहा, “बिश्नाह और अरनिया के किसान हमारी कृषि विरासत की रीढ़ हैं। इस संकट में उन्हें अकेला नहीं छोड़ा जा सकता।” उन्होंने आगे कहा, “जम्मू-कश्मीर सरकार को बिश्नाह और अरनिया के किसानों की सहायता के लिए प्रति हेक्टेयर ₹50,000 का मुआवज़ा जारी करना चाहिए, फसल बीमा दावों में तेज़ी लानी चाहिए और अगले खरीफ़ सीज़न के लिए बीज सब्सिडी प्रदान करनी चाहिए।”

कुंदन ने प्रशासन से 48 घंटों के भीतर नुकसान का पारदर्शी आकलन करने का आग्रह किया और केंद्रीय कृषि मंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान से केंद्र सरकार के हस्तक्षेप की अपील की। ​​उन्होंने कहा, “बिश्नाह और अरनिया का बासमती चावल हमारे गौरव का प्रतीक है। इसकी बर्बादी हमारे किसानों के भविष्य और खाद्य सुरक्षा को सुरक्षित करने के लिए तत्काल कार्रवाई की माँग करती है।”

कांग्रेस नेता ने बिश्नाह और अरनिया के किसानों के लिए अपनी प्रतिबद्धता दोहराई और आशा की किरण जगाने के लिए त्वरित राहत की माँग की। कुंदन ने कहा, “हम अपने किसानों के साथ एकजुट हैं और उन्हें न्याय मिलने तक लड़ेंगे।”

URGENT RELIEF DEMANDED FOR BISHNAH AND ARNIA FARMERS HIT BY RAIN AND HAILSTORM: AICC SECRETARY NEERAJ KUNDAN.

Bishnah, October 04, 2025 – AICC Secretary and Co-Incharge Organization Neeraj Kundan today demanded immediate ex-gratia compensation for paddy farmers in Bishnah constituency and Arnia block, Jammu division, devastated by recent torrential rains and a severe hailstorm. The natural calamity has crippled the region’s agrarian economy, with Basmati crops—central to local livelihoods in both Bishnah and Arnia—suffering near-total destruction.
On October 1, a fierce hailstorm battered Bishnah tehsil and Arnia block, flattening standing Basmati rice fields and causing estimated crop losses of 50-60% across these areas. A subsequent windstorm on October 2 further ravaged Arnia’s fields, deepening the crisis for Arnia farmers. Farmers in Bishnah and Arnia, already vulnerable to climate uncertainties, face severe financial distress. “Bishnah and Arnia’s farmers are the backbone of our agricultural heritage. They cannot be abandoned in this crisis,” said Kundan, a proud son of Jammu from Malley Kothe village in Arnia. “The J&K government must release ₹50,000 per hectare in compensation, expedite crop insurance claims, and provide seed subsidies for the next kharif season to support both Bishnah and Arnia farmers.”
Kundan urged the administration to conduct a transparent damage assessment within 48 hours and appealed to Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for central intervention. “The Basmati of Bishnah and Arnia is a symbol of our pride. Its destruction demands urgent action to secure our farmers’ future and ensure food security,” he stated.
The Congress leader reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for Bishnah and Arnia’s farmers, pressing for swift relief to restore hope. “We stand united with our farmers and will fight until they receive justice,” Kundan affirmed”.
