5 अक्टूबर: अवैध खनन के खिलाफ अपने निरंतर अभियान को जारी रखते हुए, बडगाम पुलिस ने जिले भर में अभियान तेज कर दिया है, पिछले सप्ताह 26 वाहन जब्त किए और एक एफआईआर दर्ज की।
जब्त किए गए वाहनों में 18 टिपर, 1 डम्पर, 6 ट्रैक्टर और 1 एलएनटी मशीन शामिल हैं, जिन्हें बीरवाह, नरबल, मागाम, हरदुपंजो, बडगाम, वाटरहेल और चडूरा सहित विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से जब्त किया गया है। भूविज्ञान और खनन विभाग के समन्वय में, खनिजों के अवैध निष्कर्षण और परिवहन में शामिल उल्लंघनकर्ताओं पर कई हज़ार रुपये का जुर्माना लगाया गया है।
चालू वर्ष के दौरान, बडगाम पुलिस ने भूविज्ञान एवं खनन विभाग के साथ मिलकर 48 प्राथमिकी दर्ज की हैं और 352 वाहन ज़ब्त किए हैं, जिनमें 149 ट्रैक्टर, 161 टिपर, 2 डंपर, 7 एलएनटी मशीनें और 33 जेसीबी शामिल हैं।
बडगाम पुलिस जनता से अवैध खनन की घटनाओं की सूचना देकर सहयोग करने का आग्रह करती है और इस खतरे को रोकने में सामुदायिक भागीदारी को महत्वपूर्ण बताती है। पुलिस प्राकृतिक संसाधनों की सुरक्षा, वैध खनन प्रक्रियाओं को लागू करने और जिले के पारिस्थितिक संतुलन को बनाए रखने के लिए अपनी प्रतिबद्धता दोहराती है।
Crackdown on Illegal Mining: Budgam Police Intensified Action Against Illegal Mining, FIR Registered, 26 Vehicles Seized in a Week.
October 05: Continuing its sustained drive against illegal mining, Budgam Police have intensified operations across the district, seizing 26 vehicles and registering one FIR during the past week.
The seized vehicles include 18 tippers, 01 dumper, 06 tractors and 01 LNT machine, impounded from various areas including Beerwah, Narbal, Magam, Hardupanzo, Budgam, Waterhail and Chadoora. In coordination with the Department of Geology and Mining, fines amounting to several thousand rupees have been imposed on the violators involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals.
During the current year, Budgam Police, in coordination with the Geology and Mining Department, have registered 48 FIRs and seized 352 vehicles, including 149 tractors, 161 tippers, 02 dumpers, 07 LNT machines and 33 JCBs.
Budgam Police urge the public to cooperate by reporting instances of illegal mining, emphasizing that community participation is crucial in curbing this menace. The police reaffirm their commitment to safeguarding natural resources, enforcing lawful mining practices and preserving the district’s ecological balance.
