𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶, [𝟭𝟴.𝟭𝟭.𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱]: Continuing its firm action against illegal mining and transportation of minerals, District Police Reasi today foiled an illegal mining attempt and seized a tractor–trolley loaded with sand.
During routine checking by a team of Police Station Reasi, a tractor–trolley bearing registration JK20B-5061 was intercepted. On verification, the driver failed to produce any valid permit or documents for transportation of the sand. Acting swiftly, the police team seized the vehicle on the spot and initiated necessary legal proceedings.
The whole operation was conducted by the team of Police Station Reasi, led by 𝗦𝗛𝗢 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶, 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽. 𝗞𝗵𝘆𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗷𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗮, 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝘆.𝗦𝗣 𝗛𝗾𝗿𝘀. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶 𝗦𝗵. 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝘄𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗹. 𝗦𝗣 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶 𝗦𝗵. 𝗜𝗳𝘁𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗱 – 𝗝𝗞𝗣𝗦.
𝗦𝗦𝗣 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶 𝗦𝗵. 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘃𝗶𝗿 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵, 𝗝𝗞𝗣𝗦, lauded the efforts of the police team for their prompt action and reiterated that District Police Reasi is fully committed to curbing illegal mining activities that cause environmental damage and revenue loss to the Government. He further urged the public to cooperate with police and report any such illegal activities in their area.
District Police Reasi will continue its intensified drive to ensure strict action against violators involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals.
