नशीली दवाओं की तस्करी के खिलाफ एक और कार्रवाई करते हुए, बिश्नाह, जम्मू पुलिस स्टेशन ने मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी में शामिल एक पति-पत्नी को गिरफ्तार करके और उनके कब्जे से 38 ग्राम हेरोइन (चिट्टा जैसा पदार्थ) बरामद करके एक महत्वपूर्ण सफलता हासिल की।
विशेष सूचना पर कार्रवाई करते हुए, बिश्नाह पुलिस स्टेशन के एसएचओ इंस्पेक्टर राकेश जामवाल के नेतृत्व में एक पुलिस दल ने सिकंदरपुर कोठे, बिश्नाह में एक विशेष नाका लगाया। नाका अभियान के दौरान आरोपी दंपति को पकड़ा गया और बाद में प्रतिबंधित पदार्थ बरामद किया गया।
गिरफ्तार आरोपियों की पहचान इस प्रकार हुई है:
अब्दुल मजीद पुत्र मोहम्मद बशीर निवासी गिद्दर गलियाँ, सिकंदरपुर कोठे, बिश्नाह, जम्मू और उसकी पत्नी।
इस संबंध में, बिश्नाह पुलिस स्टेशन में एनडीपीएस अधिनियम (21/8/22/29) की संबंधित धाराओं के तहत एफआईआर संख्या 108/2025 दर्ज है।
यह कार्रवाई एसडीपीओ आर.एस. पुरा और एसपी मुख्यालय जम्मू की कड़ी निगरानी में की गई।
जम्मू पुलिस ने नेटवर्क के आगे-पीछे के संबंधों को स्थापित करने के लिए एक व्यापक जाँच शुरू की है, और आगे और गिरफ्तारियाँ और बरामदगी की संभावना से इनकार नहीं किया जा सकता। अवैध मादक पदार्थों के व्यापार से होने वाली आय का पता लगाने और उसे जब्त करने के लिए एक वित्तीय जाँच भी शुरू की गई है।
जम्मू पुलिस जनता से नशे के खिलाफ लड़ाई में हाथ मिलाने की अपील करती है। नागरिकों को नशा मुक्त और अपराध मुक्त समाज के निर्माण में मदद करने के लिए अपने इलाकों में नशीली दवाओं की तस्करी के बारे में जानकारी साझा करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया जाता है।

In one more strike against drug trafficking, Police Station Bishnah, Jammu, achieved a significant breakthrough by nabbing a husband-wife duo involved in narcotic smuggling and recovering 38 grams of heroin (Chitta-like substance) from their possession.
Acting on specific input, a special naka was laid at Sikanderpur Kothey, Bishnah, by a police team led by Inspector Rakesh Jamwal, SHO Police Station Bishnah. The naka operation led to the interception of the accused couple and subsequent recovery of the contraband.
The arrested accused have been identified as:
Abdul Majeed S/o Mohd Bashir R/o Gidder Galliyan A/Sikanderpur Kothey, Bishnah, Jammu, and his wife.
In this regard, FIR No. 108/2025 stands registered at Police Station Bishnah under relevant sections of the NDPS Act (8/21/22/29).
The operation was executed under the close supervision of SDPO R.S. Pura & SP Headquarters Jammu.
Jammu Police have initiated a comprehensive investigation to establish the backward and forward linkages of the network, with further arrests and recoveries not being ruled out. A financial probe has also been launched to trace and freeze the proceeds of the illegal narcotics trade.
Jammu Police appeals to the public to join hands in the fight against drugs. Citizens are encouraged to share information regarding drug peddling in their localities to help build a drug-free and crime-free society.
